It's disheartening to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't get involved in activities, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of passion is harmful to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels tight. Maybe my head is too big. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes things don't work out.

This Isn't My Old School

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my experience there were quite unique, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I made my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The world doesn't accept that I exude a different hue. They stare with fear as I reveal the truth of my existence. My essence is a symbol of {somethingunique that they can't imagine. They categorize me as other, here but I am simply different.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and chanting slogans. Give me brains over brawn any day!

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
